What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. This describes what the site actually does, not what a template says.

Your email, delivery address and what you ordered. We need these to send you the right things and to prove the order happened.
We do NOT receive or store your card details. Payment happens on Stripe, and your card number never reaches this website or our servers.
Your email address, the code we issued, and when. We use it to send the code and, if you have not opted out, occasional news about the brand. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and we honour it.
We store a shortened form of your address so that one person cannot collect the same discount repeatedly under different spellings of the same inbox.
Try the Look shows you our shades on your own face. To do that we need your photo, and a photo of your face is sensitive — so here is exactly what happens to it.
Your photo is resized in your browser and uploaded straight to our private, encrypted storage. It is not public, and it is not readable by anyone who happens to have the link.
It is then sent to Google, whose Gemini image model generates your result. Google processes it to produce that image and returns it to us. We do not use your photo to train any model, ours or anyone else's.
We do not run face recognition. We do not measure or store faceprints, facial geometry, or any other biometric identifier, and we never use your photo to identify you or to match you against any other image.
We do not sell photos, share them for advertising, or attach them to your marketing profile.
These limits are enforced automatically by the storage itself, not by someone remembering to delete things:
The photo you upload is deleted after 1 day. Your finished result is deleted after 30 days, so an emailed link still works for a while. An attempt we could not process is deleted after 14 days.
If you want yours gone sooner, email orders@larougebrows.com and we will delete it. You do not have to give a reason.
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used — which pages, which products, where people get stuck. This includes SESSION REPLAY: a reconstruction of your visit, showing pages, clicks and scrolling.
Everything you TYPE is masked before it is recorded. Your email address, delivery address and any other input are never captured in a replay.
If your browser sends "Do Not Track", we load no analytics at all.
We use cookies for things the site cannot work without — remembering your cart and whether you have already been offered a discount — and for the analytics above.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data to anyone.
Stripe, to take payment. Amazon Web Services, which hosts the site and sends our email. PostHog, for the analytics above. Each is a service provider acting on our instructions, not a buyer of your data.
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Discount-code records expire automatically after a year. Analytics data is retained by PostHog under their standard retention.
Email orders@larougebrows.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop marketing. We will not make you justify the request.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We apply the same process to everyone regardless.
This site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
